ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The EDUCATION EEA programme was established on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement concerning the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, concluded between Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Kingdom of Norway, and Poland. The programme is operated by The Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE).
In the framework of the programme, in cooperation with partner countries, there will be conducted activity in three areas: mobility for part-time studies, mobility for internship, as well as mobility of academic staff and other employees of the University.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the Programme Education is to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Economic Area (EEA) and to strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) at all levels of education. The programme’s goal is also to strengthen HR potential and expand knowledge base in Poland. This objective will be achieved with a student and staff mobility between CUE and partner Universities from Donor Countries.
INTERNSHIP STAYS
Within the scope of EDUCATION EEA programme, you may go abroad to do internship. If you go as a student, you need to hold student status before you leave and after you return,. Your status cannot change from student to graduate during your internship.
LENGTH OF THE STAY
Your internship lasts 2 months and it will be squared with 1 day accuracy; a month is squared as 30 days. The internship should begin and end on a business day, unless the receiving institution operates on other days of the week as well.
FINANCING THE STAY
The University will finance your stay for up to 60 days. The grant is 1200 EUR and it is paid by bank transfer in PLN in two instalments: 70% in advance, after you have signed the agreement and the remaining 30% upon your return, when your internship has been credited.
ENROLMENT
Enrolment for the internship programme takes place at times defined by the SCC and is based on score for your academic achievements and your knowledge of a foreign language. Additional points may be granted for finding an employer at the enrolment stage or documented forms of student activity for promotion of CUE or volunteering. You may apply for one internship stay only within one enrolment.
PARTICIPANT’S PROFILE
In order to be enrolled in the programme, you need:
to be of age;
to hold a CUE student status (at any cycle of studies: first, second or third, full time or part time);
to have completed no less than the first year of first cycle studies;
if you go as a second cycle student, you need to have completed the first semester of your master’s studies;
before you leave, your status at the University must be clear and you need to have completed the last semester of studies preceding to your stay;
during your stay, you cannot take a year off or any form of a student leave.
during the internship, you cannot participate in another international programme executed by CUE nor in any other programme financed from European Funds;
you may hold any citizenship. If you hold citizenship other than any of the EU or EEA member states, make sure you know the terms and conditions regarding entering the territory of the country of destination for your planned stay within the EDUCATION programme.

LEARNING AGREEMENT
The document called Learning Agreement for Traineeships, is the most important document for the Education internship programme.
Learning Agreement for Traineeships comprises of 3 parts:

Project EEA/19/K2/W/0014 – Component II – Mobility in Higher Education in the framework of program EDUCATION with a financial support of 93 267EUR received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under EEA funds.
